The College Council operates a canteen that provides food and refreshments for the students and staff. The canteen is managed by a full time manageress supported by two part time assistants. A team of volunteer parents is fundamental to the success of the canteen and provides its services on a roster basis.
The College is very grateful to this team and thanks the members for their contribution to the College
The canteen operates as a commercial enterprise and seeks to make a reasonable surplus that is used to support College Council projects and has financed the various co-operative societies over the years.
Wellington Secondary College believes that its role is to assist students to develop a positive self-image and to seek excellence in all areas of endeavour.
